Quick Start (5 minutes)
A guide for first-time users opening the PlantPulse console. Follow the shortest path: Login → Check Status → Ingest Data → Operate. Each step links to detailed screen documentation. For a complete menu map, see Full Menu Structure and Operations Flow.
0. Login
Access from a web browser.
| Access Type | URL | Audience |
|---|---|---|
| Standard web console | http://[서버IP]/ (port 80) | General users |
| Admin console | https://[서버IP]:7443/ | System administrator (ADMIN) |
Log in with account/password. For UI elements, auto-login, and role-based menu differences, see Login. For console common frame (top domain search, left menu), see Console Navigation and Common Screens.
1. Is everything running now? — Dashboard
The first screen after login is Overview > Dashboard. Six KPIs at the top show status at a glance.
연결률 · 금일 수집 · 알람 · 가동률 · 가용률 · OEE
If you see anomaly signals, go directly to that screen → Details at Dashboard · Daily Statistics.
2. Adding new data — Model → Connection → Verify
When adding a new site or line, register model and connection together so dashboard numbers populate.
| Step | Menu | Task | Documentation |
|---|---|---|---|
| ① Register model | Factory Model > Model / Asset / Tag | Register site, area, line, equipment, and tag with standard IDs | Factory Model |
| ② Register connection | Connectivity > Protocol | Connect data sources (OPC/PLC/DB/API) to site | Connection Management |
| ③ Verify connection | Connectivity > Connection Status | Determine normal, delayed, anomaly, disconnected, or unconnected status | Connection Status |
| ④ Verify data | Data > Trend / Stream | Confirm tag values are actually being recorded | Data Point |
Step ① alone leaves dashboard numbers blank; step ② alone makes equipment/tag interpretation difficult. Check both together.
3. Frequent stops during operations
| What to do | First menu | Documentation |
|---|---|---|
| Analyze alarm root cause | Alarm > Alarm | Alarm |
| Check specific equipment status | Equipment > Equipment List | Equipment Management |
| OEE / RAM / EMS analysis | ISO > ISO Analysis | ISO Data and Analysis |
| Auto event handling / external integration | Automation > Flow | Flow · EQL |
| Create field monitor screen | Visualization > Canvas | Canvas |
| Check topic/standard path | Standard > UNS | UNS |
| Platform status, accounts, settings | System > Monitoring / Security / Settings | System · Security Management |
For the complete first-entry menu table and workflow diagrams by scenario, see Full Menu Structure and Operations Flow.
4. When stuck
| Symptom | Check first |
|---|---|
| Cannot access console | Verify server IP, port (80), and firewall → Troubleshooting |
| Data not ingesting | Connection Status → Edge → Data > Stream |
| Alarm spike | Alarm → Narrow scope by time range, site, priority |
| Screen freezing or slow | System Monitoring · Diagnostics |
